Hatch is a rather firm article.
These are vegetable tanned bovine double shoulders leather with an embossed surface structure and low finishing. The color seems nearly two toned and due to the embossing in the lighter colors intriguingly rustique
These hides are dyed through, strong and firm. In it's original thickness at around 2,2 MM Hatch has a full finished backside - perfect for briefcases or other bags where you would need that ridgid stand of the leather. As all Buttero leathers, this is a pleasure to work with and edges polish beautifully.
Depending on the chosen thickness this leather is suitable for all kinds of leather goods such as portofolios, wallets, folders, watchstraps, shoes, bags that require a rigid structure and some strength.
To care and finish we would recommend creams and waxes.
The current stock comes has a base of 2.0/2.2 or 2.6/2.8 mm from the tannery but our splitting service is for free! So please inform us at checkout about the thickness you would require.
