Walpier’s famous Buttero available in 17 colors

Buttero has a matt look and presents as a rather firm article. These are vegetable tanned bovine double shoulders with a smooth surface and low finishing. 

These hides are dyed through, strong with a semi dry touch. Buttero in all it’s forms and colors is a pleasure to work with and edges polish beautifully. 

This leather is suitable for all kinds of leather goods such as portofolios, wallets, folders, watchstraps, shoes, bags that require a rigid structure and some strength. 

To care and finish these hides we would recommend creams and waxes. 

 

Buttero comes as standard in 2.0/2.4

Some stock in the heavy weight with resined back at 2.6/2.8 thickness is available at times. And if we don’t have your desired color on stock we can arrange an order for you.

We cannot ensure that we always have both thicknesses in stock at the time, so please check with in advance of order and follow up by leaving a note for the desired thickness at check out. 

Splitting is offered as free of charge service so in any case are we able to accommodate your thickness requirements accordingly.
