Horween Basketball leather is made exclusively for sporting goods manufacturer Spalding, supplying the NBA with its balls. 

The original orange basketball leather is very stiff and not suitable for leathergoods.

This development of the Basketball article was produced by the tannery with a more rounded handle, allowing easier use in manufacturing.
